Summer & Short Term Programs

Open Spanish programs are mainly oriented to improve listening and oral skills of students. Classes are provided in a workshop format from Monday to Friday.

Classes: January 5-29

Official departure day: January 30th

 

 

SUMMER 1 PROGRAM

May 17 - June 18, 2010

 

Official arrival day: May 16th

First day of the Program: May 17th

Classes:  May 18th - June 18th (monday to friday)

Official departure day: June 19th

 

 

SUMMER 2 PROGRAM

June 21 - July 23, 2010

 

Official arrival day: June 20th

First day of the Program: June 21st

Classes: June 22nd - July 23rd (monday to friday)

Official departure day: July 24th

 

 

 

  Documents required to apply to these programs:

 

1. Completed application form

2. Health insurance

3. Official transcripts

4. Application fee:  USD 80

5- Passport copy

 

Once that student is acepted by PUCV, he/she will receive an offical letter of acceptance.

   

International Program organizes special Spanish programs that are specially designed according institution requirements. These programs take place during the northern hemisphere Summer season, although they can be arranged at any time of the year, except February. In general, tailor made programs are two – six week long. They include:

  • Spanish courses
  • Lectures on Chilean – Latin-American culture
  • Elective courses such as Literature, Economics, History, Social Issues or any other depending on institution requirements
  • City tours and handcraft workshops
